For general, cosmetic & family dental practices
"Let me think about it" is usually "I can't picture it."
Cosmetic cases rarely stall on price alone. A patient can hear "veneers" and nod along, but what they are being asked to buy is a change to their own face, sight unseen. Smyly™ removes the guesswork: the patient scans a code, takes one photo on their own phone, and sees a realistic AI simulation of the treatment on their own smile in about 40 seconds.
What Smyly™ is, and is not, in a dental practice
Smyly™ is a chairside and top-of-funnel conversion tool. It is not diagnostic, not a treatment planner, and not a replacement for the imaging you design cases with. A preview cannot see bone, bite, occlusion or periodontal health, and every surface in the product says so out loud. The exam decides what is achievable. The preview only makes the patient want to have that conversation.

After
BeforeThe before is an AI-generated model photo, not a patient. The after is the unretouched output of the same engine that builds patient previews; only our watermark was added. Your patients see their own photo, not this one.
How it runs in an operatory
The hygienist plants the seed
A patient mentions the shade of a front tooth during a cleaning. Instead of a brochure, they get a QR code at seated eye level.
They do it themselves, while they wait
One photo on their own phone, consent first, no app to install. The preview lands in about 40 seconds. No chairtime and no staff time is spent.
You walk in to a warm conversation
The patient reads out a 6-character code, you pull their preview up on your screen, and the consult starts from a shared picture instead of an abstraction.
The front desk gets a name
If they tick "have the practice contact me", their name, contact details and the treatment they explored land in your inbox and dashboard. Never their photo.

The welcome kit
Your QR kit arrives printed, shipped and ready to put up.
Every Smyly™ subscription includes a welcome kit, printed with your logo and your own patient-page QR code and shipped to your practice: 128 pieces across six formats, covering the waiting room, the front desk, the window and the checkout counter. Nothing to design and nothing to print.
Placement is most of the result. A poster where patients sit and a card with every checkout is what the kit is built around, and until the box lands, your dashboard prints a poster the same day.
3 Posters
Waiting room, hallway and restroom, at seated eye level
25 Tri-fold brochures
The consult room and the front desk, for patients who want the full story
1 Tabletop display
Front desk or checkout counter, where patients stand and wait
1 Window cling
Street-facing glass, so the invitation starts at the door
50 QR cards
One with every checkout, one in every statement envelope
48 Stickers
One sheet of 48: folders, take-home bags and the restroom mirror
Need more? Press-ready files for extra posters, table tents, stickers and cards live in the Print Shop of your Marketing Hub, unlimited.
42 dental treatments your patients can preview
Every one is labeled an AI simulation with its own honest limits stated on screen. Patients only ever see the treatments you actually offer.
Cosmetic
Restorative & general
Orthodontic
Prosthodontic & appliances
The previews are the hook. The plan includes the whole engine.
Every Smyly™ plan carries the full marketing platform at no extra cost, generated in your brand and unlimited.
Print Shop
Reprints and extras beyond the welcome kit: press-ready posters, table tents, counter cards and QR kits for the waiting room, operatory and checkout.
Video Studio
Promo videos for any service you offer, rendered in your browser and sized for every social feed.
Review assets
Google review flyers and QR cards that ask plainly and unconditionally, with no incentive language possible.
Email signatures
Fourteen designs for the whole team, appointment button included, rolled out from one setup link.
Website widget
An embeddable try-on that turns anonymous website researchers into named inquiries.
Inquiries inbox
Who asked, how to reach them, and what caught their interest. Enough for a warm call from the front desk.
Compliance is built into the artwork rather than left to the front desk: the Google assets ask without conditions, the Yelp assets only announce, and no template in the product can carry incentive language.
No new records burden, by design
Patient-taken, patient-owned
The photo is taken by the patient on the patient's own device. Your practice never receives or stores it through Smyly™.
Deleted within 24 hours
Previews expire and the photo is deleted. No gallery, no archive, nothing added to what you have to secure or retain.
No BAA, because none applies
We never handle your records, so we are not a business associate. Clinical notes stay in your practice software, where they belong.
Questions dentists ask
Will a preview oversell a case I then have to walk back?
That is the failure mode we designed against, and it is why the product is deliberately conservative. Every preview is labeled an AI simulation on screen, in the email and burned into any saved image. Each treatment page states what a preview cannot see: bone, bite, gum health, anything below the surface. Multi-level treatments render a natural option alongside the dramatic one so a patient can choose restraint. The preview is framed throughout as a conversation starter for you, never a promised result.
What do we have to buy, install or learn?
Nothing. There is no hardware, no camera, no software on your operatory machines and no training session. Patients run previews themselves on their own phones from your QR code, your website widget or your social bio. Setup is about two minutes: your name, your logo, your brand color, and your link is live.
Does this create PHI or require a BAA?
No, because the design keeps us out of that path entirely. The patient takes the photo on their own device, the preview is theirs, it expires after 24 hours and the photo is then deleted. Your practice never receives or stores the photo through Smyly, there is no patient gallery in the dashboard, and nothing enters your chart unless you and the patient put it there. We are not a business associate because we never handle your records.
We already have imaging and smile design software. Why add this?
Different job, different moment. Chairside design software runs in the consult, on your hardware, operated by your team, for a patient who is already in the chair and already interested. Smyly works before that: the patient in the waiting room, the visitor on your website, the person who saw your Instagram post. It turns curiosity into a named inquiry and a warmer consult. It does not plan treatment and does not replace what you use to design a case.
How do patients actually find it?
Four ways, and the print is the one that works hardest. Your plan ships a printed welcome kit to your practice (3 posters, 25 tri-fold brochures, 1 tabletop display, 1 window cling, 50 QR cards and 48 stickers, all carrying your logo and your QR code), with press-ready reprints in the Print Shop, an embeddable widget for your website, social images sized for each platform, and email signatures for the whole team. Placement matters more than anything else: a poster at seated eye level in the operatory outperforms every digital placement we have seen.
What does it cost, and what is actually included?
$249 a month or $2,490 a year, with a 7-day free trial that charges nothing until it ends. That is one price for everything: unlimited patient previews across 42 dental treatments, your branded patient page, the printed welcome kit shipped to your practice, the Marketing Hub with the Video Studio, Print Shop, review assets and email signature designer, the website widget, and your inquiries inbox. There is no per-preview charge and no per-seat charge.
Can we offer facial esthetics too?
Yes, if your practice lawfully provides them. Facial esthetics is off by default and gated per practice: turn it on in Settings and your patients also see lip filler, wrinkle relaxers, contouring and skin treatments. Leave it off and no patient ever sees a facial option.
Smyly™ previews are AI simulations, not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a promise of results. Individual results vary and depend on a clinical exam by a licensed dentist. Your practice is responsible for offering its services under the licensure and scope-of-practice rules that apply to it.
