Smile Line Softening: see it on your own smile first

The nasolabial folds are the creases running from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth. They are a normal part of facial anatomy that deepens with time as the midface loses volume. Dermal filler placed along or above the fold can soften how deep it looks.

A good result here is a softer fold, not an erased one: these creases move with your smile, and a face with none at all reads as unnatural. Sometimes the better plan treats the cheek above rather than the fold itself, which is a judgment call your provider makes in person.
