Wrinkle relaxers, best known by the brand name Botox®, are purified botulinum toxin type A injections that relax the small muscles whose repeated contraction creases the skin: the horizontal forehead lines, the vertical frown lines between the brows, and the crow's feet beside the eyes. Results appear over several days and settle at about two weeks.
